This blog is a place where I can come to post school related ideas, problems, and concepts for everyone to see. I'm going to school for Game Design at International Academy of Design and Technology in Detroit Michigan. My specific focus is Level Design, but this blog will feature everything that I have to go through.

Model sheet - Drow Warlock
This is the model sheet I will be using for the creation of my Drow Warlock. Kraig drew it for me at the cost of a lunch (THANK YOU!). I think it turned out very well. I've picked the hard way for modeling this character. Apparently modeling robes and long hair is difficult, but I'm going to try my hardest to get it done in time. The due date for the model of the character is week seven, so I've got about 3 weeks to get it done well.

This looks pretty cool, but how do you feel about the skirt thing? Having to model his legs and then his robes, and have to go through the pain of animating the fabric motion... Well, at the very least I commend your dedication.
ReplyDeleteI will try to make it work at least! I'll be giving updates when I start it. I'm sure there will be lots and lots of headache in the future. The model itself seems somewhat simple, just the robe and hair will be...complicated.
